Vinoba Bhave University conducts workshop on National Education Policy

Ramgarh, May 19: Vinoba Bhave University conducted a workshop on National Education Policy-2020 on Thursday in Ramgarh College campus.

Dr. Sharda Prasad, Principal of Ramgarh College said that National Education Policy has envisaged establishing a strong identity of India in the global scenario along with the solution of local problems.

Dr. A.K. Sinha, the Keynote speaker described the implementation of the new education policy and said that the present education policy is primarily student centric and under the new circumstances, teachers need to prepare themselves better to perform their responsibilities.

Presenting his statement at the event, Dr. Sunil Kumar Dubey said that this education policy is necessary for the all-round development of the country. It aims at creating a set of skills and values at each stage of education.

“With proper implementation of this education policy along with values and skills, we will be able to build better citizens for the nation,” he added.

Highlighting the importance of the Policy, Dr  Mishra said that the effectiveness of any scheme depends on its proper implementation.

“Through the new education policy, we are going to bring such an education system, which along with upgrading the character of the young generation will present immense possibilities to prepare them for employment,” he added.

Dr. CTN Singh, Head of Department of Botany, Ramgarh Mahavidyalaya concluded that this education policy is a meaningful step towards becoming a global knowledge reader.
